“ Local chinese food Located on the main street The food was great but the price is a bit on higher side Tasty ”
“ It’s always been my fave spot in Jogjakarta. Hot pot kangkung is my favorite. Other things in the menu are usually nice too. This time, we ordered Ayam Goreng Tepung and Sapo Seafood. The service is faster than usual, which was a plus point. This time, I didn’t have to queue either. ”
“ While the location on Sudirman Street might not be the most tranquil, the culinary delights offered at Tio Ciu Seafood Yogyakarta more than make up for it. Dates of visit: 15 June 2023 (with Maga, Mas Ade, Mbak Ully & Wenang) 12 November 2024 (with Maga, Mas Ade, Mbak Ully & Wenang) ”
“ In 2001 we were there with our 2 children. Stayed in the Phoenix hotel nearby. As we passed by it looked so good! Several times we had dinner there! Now in 2024 (23 years later) the place looks exactly the same and the food is just as amazing as then. Also this year we had dinner more then once while we stayed at Alamanda Villa’s in Sleman. Don’t look at the interior, don’t expect super service but GO THERE for an amazing choice on Chinese food. We hope to come back in February 2025. ”
“ Halal Chinese food with a focus on hot plates, angsio and seafood. It's quite pricey when compared with other similar Chinese food places here in Jogja. But their portions are huge, that's where the value lies. Bring a lot of people with you, as one portion of anything can feed at least two people. I got the seafood hotplate today, as I came alone, but another one of their specialties is the Juan Loo / Steamboat. I'd give a 4/5 for the overall taste, but I think what makes it worth it is the historic value & old style cooking. Also really happy to see the staff being young & energetic, all of them seem to enjoy the job. ”
“ The nasi goreng is very nice. Service can be a bit slow, and it can get very stuffy and hot inside... ”
